Along with that, Konami also announced a slew of other Silent Hill projects, including an interactive online series, a movie, and two new games titled Silent Hill Townfall, and Silent Hill F. Yesterday, Konami finally announced that it and developer Bloober Team are hard at work on a Silent Hill 2 remake. In one infamous secret ending, the player discovers that an adorable little Shiba Inu dog is at the center of the mystery, controlling James Sunderland's nightmares, and now fans can buy the iconic scene in statue format. But not all of Silent Hill 2 is quite so horrifying. Released back in 2001 for the PlayStation 2, Silent Hill 2 redefined the psychological horror genre for the 3D age of gaming, with some of the most twisted visuals and scares anyone had ever seen from the medium of video games. The survival horror genre has been home to some monumentally influential video games over the years, and Silent Hill 2 is certainly one of those.
